Beginner Guide: Easy Home Composting in Urban Spaces

Learn how to turn kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich soil right on your balcony without odors.

Urban composting is easier than ever with modern compact design bin systems. Kitchen scraps like vegetable peels and coffee grounds can be converted into rich liquid fertilizer in just days.
Step 1

Preparation & Sorting

Identify suitable food waste (vegetable scraps, fruit peels, eggshells, coffee grounds) and avoid excessive oil, dairy, or large meat bones.
Step 2

Fermentation & Bio-Activator (3–7 Days)

Layer waste inside your airtight composter and sprinkle bio-activator powder. Keep lid tightly sealed to ensure anaerobic fermentation without foul odor.
Step 3

Harvesting Liquid Fertilizer

Open the tap at the bottom of the bin to extract nutrient-dense liquid fertilizer. Dilute with clean water (1:50 ratio) before applying to indoor plants.
